The distribution working environments are characterized by a high number of sales points. This involves huge necessities of client and server equipments. Many of these systems execute general activities and the impact of migration to an open environment with lower license cost provides real cost reduction advantages. The goal of this project consisted precisely in the analysis of these advantages for several environment and the design of a prototype solution.
