Inside the framework of the project a prototype was developed using the OpenBravo's product TPV POS within the environment of Bocatta's shops of fast food.

Mercamadrid needed to adapt the corporate web site to the new functionalities that it required, and to offer a renewed image of the corporation. This led them to hire Open Sistemas to develop a dynamic content portal, with a renewed and attractive image.

Mercamadrid Tecnológico needed its own site in the internet, to provide them with identity. Open Sistemas solved the problem developing a web site using an open source content management application and creating a design that has allowed Mercamadrid Tecnológico to show to the public the information and contend that its business generates.

Many of these systems execute general activities and the impact of migration to an open environment with lower license cost provides real cost reduction advantages. The goal of this project consisted precisely in the analysis of these advantages for several environment and the design of a prototype solution.
