The project Sanos was defined within the scope of the Health Agency from Valencia as an Open Source Migration office, through which new projects and technologies are analyzed and the feasibility of being tackled through open solutions is studied, or the analysis of migration to open source of existing projects and infrastructures.

The operative system in charge of the management of these resources is Suse Linux and Open Sistemas was hired to provide administration and management tasks for these environments through open source and Linux products.
