When Orange contacted Open Sistemas they did it with a clear goal: to improve their mobility devices, extending this way their service portfolio.
Another of the projects that Open Sistemas developed for Orange was focused in content management. Access to information had to be improved, and at the same time take advantage of its generation capacity.
Within the specific field of action of the Tax Agency Open Sistemas develops a project of analysis, comparison and selection of OLAP engines based on a study of this institution casuistry, which is the low time of response in a data query from the users and a massive quantity of information looked up.
This project with Telefónica was very interesting for Open Sistemas, not because of its complexity, but because the credibility of the Aplicateca platform depended on the correct operation of these applications. And they goal was achieved.
One of the projects developed by Open Sistemas for the UNED had as an axis their aLF Platform. The University wanted to improve their online platform, optimizing the availability, the frequency of the communication with the customer and their campaigns.
The project implied giving a training course on JBoss technology for the Ayuntamiento de Alicante. JBoss is an open source J2EE application server. Being based in Java, JBoss can be used in any operative system where Java is available. The main developers work for a service company, JBoss Inc., acquired by Red Hat in April 2006, founded by Marc Fleury, the creator of the first version of JBoss.
The project consisted on the implantation, starting and training of a Moodle environment for the Inspección de Consumo of the Junta de Extremadura, together with the hosting and subsequent support of the platform.
ICEA (Investigación Cooperativa entre Entidades Aseguradoras y Fondos de Pensiones), the first association of insurance entities that was created in Spain, turned to Open Sistemas to optimize their online platform. They needed to develop extensions and system improvements, and that was what these professionals made possible.
Pedro de Valdivia High School needed to update their customer management system, improving and optimizing their tools. They reached out to Open Sistemas that solved this need using an open source environment.
