Telecom company Orange wished to refresh their image as an innovative company, and to reduce drastically the volume of paper they used. With this goal in mind they contacted Open Sistemas.
When Orange contacted Open Sistemas they did it with a clear goal: to improve their mobility devices, extending this way their service portfolio.
Another of the projects that Open Sistemas developed for Orange was focused in content management. Access to information had to be improved, and at the same time take advantage of its generation capacity.
In Gandia's Hospital, Open Sistemas developed a prototype consisting on a solution for medical appointment on stands installed in the dependencies of the hospital, through which the patients, without any help of the hospital's personell, could manage their appointments for the hospital's consultations independently.
Within the specific field of action of the Tax Agency Open Sistemas develops a project of analysis, comparison and selection of OLAP engines based on a study of this institution casuistry, which is the low time of response in a data query from the users and a massive quantity of information looked up.
This project with Telefónica was very interesting for Open Sistemas, not because of its complexity, but because the credibility of the Aplicateca platform depended on the correct operation of these applications. And they goal was achieved.
Within the project scope Open Sistemas develops for Iavante different works related with technology innovation environments and R+D in Technology and Health.
The project Sanos was defined within the scope of the Health Agency from Valencia as an Open Source Migration office, through which new projects and technologies are analyzed and the feasibility of being tackled through open solutions is studied, or the analysis of migration to open source of existing projects and infrastructures.
The project consisted on the development of interactive contents and games for learning the English language through contents provided by Vaughan. Contents and games based in puzzles where integrated in the environment of the Univadis portal and offered a more dynamic and entertaining model to learn English.
