Open Sistemas supports Solimadrid

A well known group of enterprises from the Comunidad de Madrid have founded a new association, called SoLiMadrid, that aims to encourage the use of Free Software.
Enterprises such as Open Sistemas, Arena Futura, Hispafuentes, xsto.info (Access to Info), ISI Argonauta, Qwi TI, XimetriX, Free Systems (from the Ikusnet group), Semilla de Software Libre and Edit Lin Editorial attended the event where SoLiMadrid was presented.
The main goal of SoLiMadrid is to promote and encourage the use of Free Software among the enterprises and public administrations located in Madrid, as well as to defend the use of open standards whenever any kind of technology is installed, to encourage the research and development of Free Software based technologies (this will help for a better development of the enterprises), to promote cooperation among Free Software enterprises, to speak with the public administrations in the mane of these enterprises and to cooperate with other national or international organizations.
