Open Sistemas becomes the first Zimbra partner in Spain

Zimbra, which has recently been acquired by Yahoo!, is known to be the leading cooperative working tool on the Free Software market.
The Spanish consulting firm Open Sistemas has signed a collaborative agreement with Zimbra, a free server of cooperative work, acquired by Yahoo! Thus, from now and on, Open Sistemas will be in charge of the installation and technical support of this tool in Spain becoming its first official supplier in this country.
Zimbra can be integrated with lots of mail clients through open protocols and it also includes antivirus, anti-spam, e-mail support, contact book, calendar, the possibility of editing files and a powerful web client based on AJAX. The new Zimbra Collaboration Suite 5.0, published last 5 of February, includes some new possibilities such as:
A native synchronization of e-mails, contacts, dates and tasks from Zimbra to Outlook 2007
The possibility to access Zimbra from any BlackBerry or J2ME device and from any other portable browser like Apple iPhone.
Monitoring the start and finishing dates, the priority and the progress of each task included in Zimbra.
Storing the attached files from any message in a special structure (Zimbra Briefcase) easy to share.
Instant Messaging (IM) through the web, group chat and support for several conversations.
Working with or without connexion through Zimbra Desktop
Sharing the inbox and other mail boxes having the possibility to offer only reading access or complete control to other people.
