Open Sistemas has amplified the POS Openbravo tactile software

Both enterprises have committed themselves to keep working on the new version which has at its disposal its own development environment in the Openbravo website.
Openbravo POS has been amplified, improved and renewed by Open Sistemas becoming a customized system for tactile screens in fast food restaurants. It gives its users a higher control of the activities that have to be carried out.
The system has been called Fast Food Openbravo POS since it has been specially designed for tactile POS concerning the restaurant industry activity. The Fast Food version can be considered as an improved version since it simplifies the coordination of main areas such as sales point, kitchen services and storage, speeding up the whole process.
The new multiplatform software has important advantages and facilitates the development of this model of business since it can be integrated with other systems (video control, business reports…) and it includes higher levels of security, reliability and scalability. The fact that this software is free guarantees the permanent availability of the whole POS net with no disruptions or incidents and increases the productivity of this kind of franchises.
Development agreement
Openbravo POS has been amplified, improved and renewed by Open Sistemas becoming a customized system for tactile screens in fast food restaurants. It gives its users a higher control of the activities that have to be carried out. After the third and the last version of the GPL license have been released, Openbravo and Open Sistemas have signed a development agreement in order to continue with the project. In fact, a specific development environment has been created in the Openbravo website for this project.
According to this Open Sistemas has donated to the community the code which had been developed in the last few months. This code will also be available in the Sourceforge repertoire from September as part of the free software policy of the company.
The new system has already been introduced in 11 business of a well-known branch of fast food restaurants in Valencia and it has drastically improved the quality of the service given.
