Customer: MSD-Vaughan Systems
Vaughan Systems is the main supplier in Spain of computer programs for learning new languages. These programs are mainly oriented to executives and company employees.
From one of the Vaughan Systems applications, that works by CD, Open Sistemas, using Flex Macromedia, developed a new version for digital environments designed for those MSD doctors interested in learning languages on-line. Open Sitemas is in charge of the development, implantation and support of this new application.
The system is divided in several steps each of one is more difficult than the previous. In each step the user gets 25 random questions that must be translated. After wards, the answers given are corrected by the system which may show the user, depending on if the answer is correct or not, several alternatives.
As the user goes through the different steps, a 25 piece puzzle gets completed. When it is finally done, the doctors can insert their data so that a ranking is created with their results. The application gets renovated periodically with new sets of questions.
