The objective of this project was to migrate the website of the Sociedad de Neumología Pediátrica to the Ferret CMS content manager. This content manager has been created by Open Sistemas.
Ferret CMS is a Zope based content manager and oriented to the websites fast development. Moreover it offers the user a lot of facilities when administrating the website.
The required templates were developed by Open Sistemas in order to completely cover the customer needs. The navigation process was structured regarding the elements needed for the website.
This website offers multiple services and tools for the professionals of this specialty. Thus, they can have all the information related to curses, workshops, grants, news, scientific researches, medical notebook, interesting links, forums etc.
The main advantages of Ferret CMS are that it has its own content templates so it is very easy to administrate, edit and validate. Thus, both non expert and expert users can easily work with it.
